Most Effective Fat Loss Exercise

Weight Loss – Cardio?

Hey, my question is regarding quick ways to burn fat in terms of cardio exercise.
Currently I do a 45 minute minute run at 10kph (6.2mph) and was wondering if this sufficient? I was told this form of endurance cardio was the most efficient in weight loss, yet now I’ve also been told that short bursts of sprinting for less than 10 minutes is more effective.

I’m not looking for anything like cross country runner, this interval training seems extremely interesting!

Hmm… 45 min at 6.2 is good, if it’s enjoyable to you… But you can get the same amount of workout done in much less time if you do the interval thing. Even if you make it up as you go, depending on how you feel, say “I’m going to run at 8mph for a quarter/ or half mile then back to 6mph for .25″ etc… I do it this way (but sometimes walk after the 8 if I’m lazy) because then there is really no quitting… if I don’t feel like running, I jog or walk for a little then soon feel bored and start sprinting again.

I dunno. Just a way I get my interval training in :)
Running bursts makes you stronger and able to run faster… If you are training for say cross country, I would think the 45 min constant speed would work for that.
